Re: Big Bend Fishing
They're pretty big up this way. How many tags do they give you now. With this whole trout thing, I don't, for a minute, believe that any recreational fishermen that are not breaking the law, are causing any trout shortage. I'm sure that any fishermen, now matter where they are from, will spend their...

Re: Big Bend Fishing
That may be translated as three in the morning, three in the afternoon. Hopefully not. The last three or four years we have releasing everything over 20. However when we are trying to feed a few people, including non fishermen, it may take bigger fish to do this. I don't deer hunt but if I could cat...

Re: Purchase Power
Did you fish much before the net ban? I did and there is a daylight and dark difference since nets were ban in the areas I fish and have for a long time. We almost got turned off to inshore fishing it got so bad. I'm sure some of the folks that are a lot more involved in the research have all the pr...

Re: Purchase Power
Would I give my money to a person who was going to use my money to take away one of the things that have meant so much to my family their entire life. The answer is no.

Re: Purchase Power
I've never been to Crum's. This whole issue is the way we were raised. At one time some people didn't believe slavery was wrong. Most of those died believing it wasn't wrong. Now we cringe at how bad slavery was. The people that want the net band reversed are out for economic gain. They don't care a...

Re: got my boat back
Your boat looks great Blue Spinner. I hope you enjoy your power pole as much as we have on our bay boat. It opened up a whole new way of protecting ourselves from the fish.

A friend of mine upgraded like yourself and he just kept his 7" and keeps it on full screen and uses his new one however he needs to. That will be a good deal for someone.

Re: 8.3 , Heading to Mountains
You have to be one lucky person to make it through Atlanta, Marietta and up to 575 to Blue Ridge, if you go that way, to get clear sailing. I had to go to Atlanta today, Sat, and you would of though it was Friday afternoon.

Re: 8.3 , Heading to Mountains
You can also get off 75/16 at Macon, go to Gray, Eatonton and on to Madison. No way I would get any closer to metro Atlanta than I had to.

Re: 8.3 , Heading to Mountains
If You want to avoid Atlanta you can get off 75 at Forsyth, go to Madison, Athens, Commerce and on to Blairsville. Factor in Atlanta traffic and it would be an easier and more scenic drive.

Re: Yeti type coolers
I picked up the Igloo copy cat with the single handle to use for just a tote around. Its got enough ugly colors so I wont have to worry about anybody stealing it. It seems to work well.
