Re: Let's reach an agreement
I have to admit that I read a whole more on BBF than I post, but certainly enjoy all the information posted here. I have never fished the tournaments so I am sure there are many intracies that I don't appreciate nor understand. However, just a quick note to say thanks to all those who have served or...

I have a 2006 Optimax. Scared to jinx it, but I have not had any problems. Concur that they are quiet and fuel efficient.

Re: NFGFC Tourny boat sunk
Little tough to read some of the criticism of the LEO and of the boater. Maybe I am alone on this, but I know I have done some things I regret and some of them have been in a boat. Secondly, if the accident would have happened near Panacea, this thread would have been a lot shorter only because of c...

Re: Scallop - St. Marks
Thanks for the reports. Went today - just my 12 yr old son and me. Made about 4 sets and ended up with about 3 gallons. Could have kept going and easily ended up with our limits. We were in about 4 foot of water straight south of Gray Mare with 342, 397 other boats. Sizes were mixed.

Scallop - St. Marks
Any reports on scallops at St. Marks? I know that all of the St. Marks fisherman will say no. I understand - I fish far more than scallop, but looking to take the family. Thanks guys!

Indian Pass raw bar. Eat there the first night so you will have time to go back.

Re: 24' Bay Scout
There is a lot of great advice in the above posts. I have a 19' bay boat and a 26' CC. The truest statement on here is Harmsway suggestion that all 2-4's are not created equally. Harmsway gave the "scientific" answer, but a couple of trips in 2-4's of varying degree and the science will no...

Re: Need a place to eat in Albany
My niece will be in town to play a soccer match and I thought we would go out to eat afterwards. I don't want to break out the tux to go eat but I also don't want saddle up to a feed trough with 350lb Albanians. Looking for the middle ground. Henry Campbell's and the Catch are certainly not tux, bu...

Re: Need a place to eat in Albany
Blackbeard's is completely different atmosphere than Henry's and the Catch. Depends on what you are looking for -- all three are great. Is this with wife, with wife and kids, with friends, etc.?

Re: Missing Angler
I did not know David Clark, but really hate to hear the ending to that story. Prayers for his family. I agree this is a solemn reminder for us all to give some thought to our use of safety equipment. Can some of those that are familiar with the inflatable life vest provide some guidance for those of...

Re: Steinhatchee Scallopingand fishing????
Two weeks ago at St. Marks, we had our dive flag out and were about to get in the water when a boat came by on plane within about 50 yards from us (really too close to run to an anchored vessel in any situation much less one with a dive flag flying). A lady on the boat was hollering at the driver an...
