Re: Sharks
We saw several sharks throughout the day at Lanark yesterday. One experience was similar to the one posted above. We were chasing a bid pod of feeding blues, ladies and trout. Topwater hit the surface and got pounded by a blue and immediately after a nice size shark attacked the blue and lifted into...

Re: Fishing with a Mirrolure 52mr
If you are missing a lot of strikes (we all do...so you are not out of the norm) you might also look at the line/leader you are using. No-stretch braid is great for the action of the lure (when paired appropriately with the stiffness of the rod), but can also lead to more misses and torn mouths. Som...

Re: Small engine sputtering problem
Thanks...I will try those things and give it a rip again. The issue of the fuel line and air seems like it might be the case as I have never had to work so hard to get the fuel pumped from the tank to the engine prior to starting. Make sense?

Small engine sputtering problem
Yamaha 9.9 4 strk. Pulled it out after the winter's nap, re-fueled, cleaned carb (as much as an amateur can), changed oil, cleaned filter and got it going. While it will run for ever (seemingly) on low throttle, anything more than that gives me about 30 seconds of love then dies down to idle RPM, ca...

Re: 2002 Chevy SilveradoZ71 1500 extended cab
Skitter...it gets around 15 on average the last time i checked. Although, I have been known to drive a bit on the conservative side. For example, I got about 90,000 out of my first set of tires and brakes. A little less on the ones since then, but I think you get the point. I drive very conservative...

2002 Chevy SilveradoZ71 1500 extended cab
Just had to purchase a "third row" vehicle to accomodate the littlins, so I am getting rid of my beloved truck. It is a 2002 LS Silver Z71: - 4WD (pushbutton) - power everything, including both seats - Extended cab - bedliner (factory from day 1) - Cassette and CD player - both functioning...

Re: Light House Boat Ramp
Can you tell if the entry area (the road area as you back in) has been expanded? Two ramps are nice, but logjam it will be if that is not widened.

Re: Gator Tail on a flats hull?
HB is making a NEW really shallow hull that looks a lot like that. Pretty sweet either way. Easy to get cocky with a skiff like that, though.
