I'm curious how this active anchoring is going to work.
In a stiff wind, my 8' PP won't hold my boat, regardless of how much "downforce" my hydraulic pump applies. This seems like a non-existent solution.

Re: Panacea Fishing and scalloping
Offshore bait would be best caught on your own.
Sabiki up pinfish on the flats, or go offshore and look for schools of bait and sabiki them up en masse.

Another option is the Shell Island Fish Camp, they are busy as well, but worth a shot for a simple repair.

Re: Recommend rod and reel for pompano fishing on surf and p
WM has a great Ugly Stik combo for about $40 that will be a start rod/reel. I'd really suggest you use 15# braid though, especially for casting further in the surf.

The mere fact that a contagious illness has become political is a sign of the polarization of America.Salty Gator wrote:What are the gloves for? Sun protection?
I’d like to be able to discuss this without it being political. But I’m not sure that is possible for some

Re: Shimano Snapper Show w/Capt. Steve Roger
Shimano presents another Fishing Show Live Q&A tonight with noted Key West native Capt. Steve Roger. Topic tonight will be on snapper. I fished with Steve and Dave Pfeiffer, the president of Shimano, one time in Key West. We hammered the mutton snapper. Fun trip and I learned a lot. Steve helpe...

Re: Monster at S tower
FWIW, my opinion is not a cuda. I’ve easily caught log sized versions at the towers and using a big spinner they make one big run, maybe two, then give up. Really fairly wimpy. Again, bull shark. If dolphins are seen actually taking hooked fish than maybe. Goliaths go down to structure. AJ go down,...

Automotive Hydraulic Lift $1,000
Will trade for offshore numbers inside 30nm, or fishing tackle, or some kayaks. Needs approximately 10' height clearance. I don't know the weight rating, but I'd assume it's quite a bit. It was never wired in it's current location, so I cannot verify operation. Buyer responsible for removal. https:/...

I did some diving yesterday, saw 3 or 4 within 2 minutes. all in about 5' of water, and grassy bottom.

Re: New Kawasaki Fat Tire bicycle help
There are plenty of aftermarket seat options that will be a huge improvement, and also the padded shorts will help a LOT.
There are mountain biking shorts that are padded, so you're not wearing spandex, and look normal.
