I was there a couple of weeks ago and didn't have any luck with the reds. Found a nice little hole and the water was moving but nothing. It rained heavily before i went so there was a lot of fresh water in the river.

I am fishing the Ochlocknee/Sopchoppy area for the first time this weekend. Is there anything I should look out for? Is the state park ramp ok for a 22 ft bay boat? Any fishing advice at this time?

Does anyone know the answer to this? I would like to fish aucilla this weekend if the ramp is open.

Redfin must not want people to know what he looks like so people cant follow him leaving the boat ramp.

I need some advice as to what kind of gear I need to fish 15-30 miles offshore. I am looking to do a little trolling and bottom fishing. I don't have deep pockets therefore wanting to stay in the $150-200 range for a combo. Any suggestions?
