I figured others were finding them today. I caught these 2 this morning. The biggest was 21 inches.

Fcka.net dropped it. Postings went down a lot. I use it for several sites and don't visit sites without it much. Check with suber.

Kayaks and Gators
I've been doing the kayak thing for a while. Fished alot in the dark on most of the area lakes. I can assure you that the gators in our local lakes where hunting is allowed are extremely unlikely to give you any problems. Other than chasing your topwater plugs and you occasionally surprising one the...

Re: Say no to Kayak and Canoe Fees
I see very little difference between this and bicycles, swimmers, etc. Soon they'll want to charge us to breath.
Most Kayakers would prefer to not have ramps or docks or anything they would provide.
Are we going to need a permit to go hiking next.

Most folks here paddle 12-14 foot yaks. Generally, the longer, the faster. You'll also want the extra space. Watch craigslist for one.

Best spinning Reel for +-$120
For that price, I like the Shimano Symetre. I have about 4 of them that are still working fine after several years. Steve, I don't know if they have changed this reel. But I and many others I know have had lots of trouble with this reel. I love all Shimano with the exception of the Symetre. I have ...

Re: Poll: Has flats fishing gotten worse over the years?
I'm a yak guy. So my results are limited to the shallows. My numbers are up quite a bit this year for slot fish. Most trips were catching 15-18 each. Last year it was tough for slot fish. We have found slightly more trout over 24" this year. Last week was the first trip in a long time that we d...

Re: Recommendations for a guest in town?
If you can't impress someone fishing from your kayak, consider getting a Kayak guide. You'll learn a lot and you won't have this problem next year. I'd recommend the guys at TNT. Billy or Rob should be able to put you on more fish than you fishing by yourselves.

Re: Looking For Some Yakkers to Fish With
just found this forum, spent most of my time over on FCKA but I am wanting to fish closer to home as my 2 jobs don't leave me with much extra time. I am in Madison County and I was a regular around the Carrabelle, St Marks, SGI, Cape San Blast area but I hear there are some good spots in Taylor Cou...

My unscientific survey for today. I fished by myself. 17 reds. Most were 19-21". The largest 23".
