have hooked up with some small ones in close while fishing for trout. We use light tackle so would not be able to land a big one. Will give it a try next time i am down that way. The econfina is about the only place i fish out of.

Going this weekend and checking to see if anyone has been down there lately. Tides look good should have plenty of water and an incoming tide from sun rise till 1:00.
