Mystic tremor
Was looking on the website of the shop in appalach and they have some rods I've never heard of. Mystic. Anyone ever thrown the tremor from them? How do they compare to other rods in that price range? Thanks

Re: Chittum skiff
Decided to wait and see what harry spear comes up with. I need to go see him soon and hopefully he'll take for a test ride on his prototype.

Decided I'd stop by my local going out of business gander. Picked up a new st. Croix imperial 8wt for $115!!!! Now I need a new reel, what do y'all recommend for a mid tier? Going to throw the scientific angler redfish 9wt line on her. Also found out tonight, Thursdays is when they do markdowns ever...

Re: Indian pass campground boat ramp
Don't know what size boat you have, but if you launch from sgi at the bridge, it's just a hop skip and jump to the west pass, st. Vincent island and those islands your looking at. There is a few bars inside the pass so take it easy there.

Chittum skiff
Has anyone been on one of Hal chittum's skiffs? I'm looking into a chittum or a hb marquesa after I sell my bay. Needing a smaller lighter boat I can handle easier. Also something I can throw a fly rod from. Going back to my roots you could say. Thanks guys

Re: Angler Ethics?
I figured I'd drop a past experience here. As a guy in a bay boat I've had a few dbags get way too close and show me just how big of an arse they could be. I stay calm, collected and back my boat as close to them as I dare. Then trim up my 225zuke and politely give them a bath. Then trim down and f...
