Re: St. Marks 8-14-19

Was hoping that trout would make it into a report, it was making its way around through individual texts, biggest one I've seen. Well done gentleman!

Re: CCA Star Tourney: Finally passed 100 catches for the sum

Forgot to compliment you Coach, 100+ is absolutely amazing, you must double up every trip! By my count, there's only been 68 days.

Re: CCA Star Tourney: Finally passed 100 catches for the sum

I'm at 25, a new high for us, hoping to get to mid 30s but going away over the next 2 weekends.

Mitzi and an extended trip to New York have slowed Luc and Savannah, but we still love it. As I've said before, STAR entries define a "good" day June-Sept.

Re: Lost push pole

Didn't actually see it come off and a guy was sitting almost on top of it, but when the wave hit we were a little busy. Didn't miss it til I got home, just assume the wave got it.

Re: Lost push pole

At least I'm in good company!

Called FWC as suggested, they took the report at their dispatch number (850-245-7716), wanted more of a description than white, 18 ft. long, probably doesn't float, in case they find more than one!

Lost push pole

Out of carabelle, .5 miles off Dog Island headed toward east pass, white, 15-16 ft. long, REWARD
Advice, stay on top of waves, don’t go through or under them, better yet, don’t cross > 10 knots in a skiff.
Very lucky.

Just re-sent, forgot the "22".

Trying to see if you're making/repairing rods.

Re: FWC Seatrout Workshops/Proposed Management

I'll just go ahead and correct myself - what's quoted is what it says, not clear on whether 19 would be legal or not. Maybe these are choices for consideration and not all inclusive? Reducing bag limits Western Panhandle: 5 to 3 fish Big Bend: 5 to 4 fish South Florida: 4 to 3 fish Central East Coas...

Re: FWC Seatrout Workshops/Proposed Management

"Prohibiting all harvest of spotted seatrout 19 inches and larger"

not sure this one is accurate, I read change the slot to 15-19, none over. I'd be ok changing it to 16-19.
