East Pass fishing question

Post by DEADLYMNM7 »

I am planning to fish at East Pass in St George Island this week. My question is, do I have to be there on high tide to really catch fish? Looking for Reds, pompano, Spanish macks, and sharks

I guess this means I have to go there and find out for myself?
I hope someone can give me an answer :)

Fish when you can. Moving water is my favorite time but doesn't always guarantee the bite will be on. Sometimes they bite @ slack tide as well. Just go when you can & fish as long as you can. If you want to stack the odds, check for the major feed time and fish around it. Dawn & dusk usually have somewhat of a bite going on. Good luck.
