Scalloping this weekend?

Post by Hit-n-Miss »

Who's going? The boat finally had a trailer under it and we are going. Probably to Keaton. Unless we decide on St Marks at the last minute. Can't wait to run the boat again.

I may head out to St. Marks, undecided at this point.

Took the kids out to St. Marks on Sunday. We got about 3 gallons in a couple of hours time. Could have limited out, but the thought of cleaning scallops all evening inspired us to stop at just enough for supper. Most of the one's that we found were in about 3 ft of water.
NOAA reports are the reason I have trust issues.

Its my 33 wedding anniversary Saturday and the wife don't want to scallop. Headed to Lake Chatuge. Hopefully will get out soon. Y'all get'em boys!
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!

Finally ready to go for in the morning. Took quite a while to find all of my stuff that was hastily unloaded from the boat when the trailer broke. See y'all out there.

didn't make it out scalloping, but did manage to splash the boat in jackson for shakedown run in anticipation on next weekend. I miss the days when jackson was weed free from miller landing to 27. Still lots of fishing closer to shore, but wide open for skiing/tubing in the middle.

We put in a Spring Warrior a couple weeks ago and ran down to Keaton and got our limit. Is anyone having any luck closer to SW or up around Econfina?
