Harassment
What do you do about harassing pelicans? We had one sit right out of reach for the whole east flat run. He ate a shirt as soon as I got it in the water and it was a race to get any decent fish in the boat. Any pointers?

Just shoo them off. If you happen to hook one, put a shirt or towel over its head and remove hook. Good luck

I always have my dog with me. He goes nuts when he sees them and they don't stick close to my boat. Now if I could only make him scare the dolphins too!

FYI, someone has been doing harm to Pelicans in the Panacea area I've heard....Be careful with them...I'm sure folks are watching for wrong doers

Did anybody see the news story about what somebody did to dozens of pelicans in Wakulla County? I have a solution to that problem but I can't say it here.

So sad, I can remember when they had to be reintroduced and were rarely seen.
