The Other kind of trout!

Post by bman »

Spent last week up in North Georgia and took advantage of stream fishing for some rainbows and browns with my girls.
Fished public but stocked streams and had a blast!

Caught limits two days in a row... 3 man the first day with my two girls
And a 4 man the second day with my buddy Jason and his son.

Not much better this time of year than standing in cold water listening the the rushing water carry your bobber down stream!

Nice trip.

I understand the bobbers with the kids, but where is your fly rod?

Every day you get the chance to take your kids fishing is special. Making memories that last a lifetime.

What general area were you in town wise? My wife and I are making a driving trip to the mountains in July and are looking for good places to see on the way.

Well done! Cherish those memories. My baby just turned 18 and it seems like just yesterday when we were standing by a pond catching bream with a pink 3 foot Barbie pole.

You're right. I should have spotted that Cheaper Than Dirt label on his vest, let alone the skillet and camp stove on the far bank.

We stayed in Hiawassee – there are a bunch of good stocked streams near there

This was a catching trip with the kids not a fishing trip :-)
