keaton scallop prospects

Post by ddb »

We are spending the weekend at Keaton to do some fishing and scalloping. I was wondering if anyone has had good success scalloping out of Keaton? Trailering over to Steinhatchee is not a bad option, so that's our backup plan. Other than the loading nightmare at the ramp, I'm much more comfortable with Keaton.

If you go out of Keaton... head south.

Otherwise, most of the recommendations you'll get (including mine) is to go to the 'hatch. Most folks are having greater success down ther.e
