I am not sure you want a cleaning station there. A scallop season or two ago, there was a gator in the lighthouse pool that snatched a dog while the family was loading their boat. Also, many years ago I remember a very large gator that used to block that ramp and wait for fishermen to throw it a fish. FWC disposed of that one.

I remember an alligator there also. This was before the new ramp. And several hungry raccoons, we threw out leftover baitfish to them(not to the gator!).
