line capacity
Why can I never get as much line on a reel as the manufacture specs says it will hold? It doesn't matter if I do it our have Kevin's put it on. If it was just a difference of a few yards, no big deal but it's more like 25%-30%. As an example the last reel I purchased was a Lexa-WN 300. The specs say it will hold 300 yards of 55lb braid. Kevin's could only get 250 yards of 30lb power pro.
Re: line capacity
The line capacity of the 300 model is 180 yards of 55lb test braid. You are looking at the specs for the 400 model. http://www.daiwa.com/us/contents/reels/ ... index.html

I am looking at the box it came in "55-300, 80-200". Lexa-WN 300HSL-P. I checked out the link you sent and those spec's do match up with the 400 model. I guess they printed the line capacity for the 400 on the 300 box. Everything else seams to be correct.OleFish wrote:The line capacity of the 300 model is 180 yards of 55lb test braid.
