Kayaks fishing the middle of a channel shouldn't expect anything as that's motorboat stomping ground but I come off plane when I encounter them in the river. If i'm in my big boat and anchored up I offer bug spray and coffee to anyone passing through
.There's alot of water out there to share.
Also worth noting the fish are starting to migrate up river and even though you can legally run the river at speed I really think it should be no wake(St marks river from the fort to 98) from around now until march. Everyone is fishing the river in the winter.
