Post Cold Front Fishing

Should I fish Sunday? It's the only day I'm free, and the cold front comes through overnight.

Will it be a complete waste of time or just a slower bite?

Could probably knock out a few, but very little tidal movement and the solunar windows are only average. The high pressure won't help, either.

I'm probably going to do a few projects on the skiff and boat shed that need attention.

Water temps are running 57-59 in the St marks but higher if you turn up the Wakulla by the Fort. Wednesday we got into some nice redfish up above Shell Island with 66 degree water. Buncha ladyfish & 1 sheepshead, but we never did find the trout

Take it from a former FL guy that is up in N GA where it has been raining for 3 days and will be 33 tomorrow morning: any time you can go, go!
Should be some fish up the rivers; good luck.

When and where are you seeing those temps??? I haven't seen below 60 in some time.

George and I got out this afternoon and fished a few creeks. It was blowing 15-30, but from NW and flat so we had minimal chop to deal with. (the skiff absolutely sliced through some crunchy 1-2'ers this evening coming into the channel, though)

Fishing wise:
- 2 dozen trout, largest at 21" and the fattest 19" trout I've ever seen.
- 4 reds, largest at 24"
- 4 flounder, largest to 14"

*All fish caught on artificials only and were released back healthy
