SeaArk question.

Found a 1998 Seaark 2072 for sale with a 2015 Suzuki 140. Does anyone know if seaark used wood in the transom on these older model hulls? The guy wants 11k for the setup and the motor has less than 75 hours.

I would just call Sea Ark and ask them. If Jumptrout's link is to the website today, it may not be true for a 1998 boat. You may also want to talk to Dan Elinor at FWC. He and his brother Matt have a personal boat that is a very old Sea Ark 1872. They can tell you some things to check out.
That being said, those boats are tanks. I have a 2072 that I am very happy with.
If that motor is also older, there may be some reason there is only 75 hours on it. It's not good for them to sit for years. I would have a purchase check done on it prior to finalizing the deal.

The motor is a 2015 year model. Planning on going down tmrw to check it out. Pictures look good just looking for advice on what to look for besides the obvious welds, transom etc. worst case scenario I could just have it touched up at a welding shop.

aArk. They said YES there is wood in the 1998.
They said NO WOOD after 2001.

I have a 1872 and it doesn’t have any wood and it is an ‘01, I had some pitting under the front of the hull, I think the corroded trailer bunk mounts were probably the case, all fixed now, other than that built solid, so just look at the bottom we’re the bunk mounts are for any pitting
