Weighing a trailer

Post by fishinfool »

I saw in a post from last year that there are scales in St. Marks. The suggestion was to tie up at Shields then have the trailer weighed.
My question is where are the scales?
Hoping someone can help.

Never knew they had any. I had Marpan on Woodville Hwy do mine, they didn't charge me anything.

It's on Terminal Dr, right around the corner from Shields. Stop in the terminal office. They'll take care of you. I forget what it costs, but it wasn't much.

Thanks reelhandy. By the way, is it the liquid transfer station?

I don't know for sure what they do. The yard is on the right, but the scale is further down the road. A guy in a golf cart will follow you to the scale and do the weighing after you've stopped off at the office.
