Arkansas duck hunting...

Post by bman »

Had an amazing trip to Arkansas chasing ducks and geese...
Its been a couple of weeks since we got back and coming home to chase our few birds has been a letdown!

Hunted with DOA guide Service between Dewitt and Stuttgart.
First morning was foggy so the limit took longer but it was a great day

One of my buddies shot a spoonie and another a hen ringneck but the rest were Gaddies, Mallards, Pintails!
Even three speckle belly geese on top ;-)

Second day we hunted with Goose Busters and had one heck of a hunt!!

I could not get over the numbers of geese

Last hunt was back on Ducks-
Had our limit of Mallards by 8am Spent the rest of the morning filling out on gaddies and wigeon.
Two more specks died for the cause.

Made a trip to Mack Prarie wings... WOW. My wife is thankful that I only left with a t-shirt. There were guys dropping big bucks!

One of the best parts of the trip was the transportation to the blind - We dubbed it Arkansas Uber ;-)

Nice. Looks like a blast. Them specks sure cooperate when things are right.
Ducks, turkeys, flats fishing. Who has time for golf?

I'm jealous. Not seen good duck hunting since Merritt Island in the 80's. Area 4
