The final SEATROUT CHALLENGE event for 2017 finished up with a few mishaps and some good fish.
One boat never made it to the ramp. The tire, wheel and hub separated from the trailer in Woodville at 5 a.m. At weigh in we got a call from another boat that launched from Econfina at 6:29 a.m. to inform us Seatow had towed them to the Fort Ramp at St. Marks.
Mishaps aside, here are the results for the tournament,
1st place Padgett and Asa with 13# 3 oz.
2nd place Leif and John with 12# 4 oz.
3rd place Tran and Anthony with 9# 12 oz.
Big Trout went to Asa at 4# 9 oz.
Big Red went to Leif at 7# 0 oz.
SEATROUT CHALLENGE will resume in March 2018.
