Ecofina 5/28/16 report.

Post by Hit-n-Miss »

Daniel, my son and I got to Ecofina at 6:20 and headed out. Was a beautiful sunrise this morning. Image. Stopped at our first spot west of the mouth and this was this 1st cast. Image. We thought heck yeah gonna be a great day. . . Not. We went all over and worked for the fish we got today. Image. Daniels first fish today. The water was very clear and from 78-82 degrees today. As slow as it was and getting hot I decided to go swimming and lookie what I found. Image. Ok enough playing time for more fishing. Image. Image. There was a lot of people on the water today and that probably affected the fishing. But we managed 7 trout a Spanish and two BSB.

Looks like you had a good time. It wasn't a bad catch. Surprised you didn't catch a cobia. Seems to be a lot of them around this year.

Thanks for the report.

Talked briefly to one of my customers on the VHF. I worked on his Key West 1720 this past week. He was fishing St Marks guess he was a little far away. Told him about this site and he said he would post up a report from there.
