CIS on Friday and Saint Vince on Sun.
My report on CIS is a lot like Eerman's: not a lot to show. A few blowups on top water and not much else. The wind had blown a lot of the water out of the sound on an already negative lowtide day. Laid out Sat. but Sunday Eerman and I put in at Indian Pass about 12:30-1:00 and ran East. The plan was to fish the lee side of the island to stay out of the wind as much as possible and I was hoping that the South wind had kept enough water in the area I wanted to fish. There was plenty of water in the little Bayou that I had seen dry land on a previous trip with Chalk at the same tide. Mullet were everywhere, but the water was stained pretty bad so we stayed on the grass line pitching a gold spoon and Eerman on the top water. first fish in the boat was a maybe slot red, didn't take the time to measure. Eerman had his spook sucked under by a nice fat red and was weighed @ a little over 6lbs when we got it in the boat. didn't measure it either but we guessed about 25-26 inches. I hairliped two more rats on the spoon and then the tide just quit, and so did everthing else. The Indian Pass Raw Bar and cold Yuengling Black and Tan were calling our names, not to mention the very dark clouds coming between us and the ramp. We were haveing a cold beer by 4o'clock. 3 hrs on the water and 4 reds. Here's E with the only fish worth photos. enjoyed it Rick, we'll go again when the wind aint blowing 20knts.

Too bad your pet gator wasn't waiting on ya at the mouth

There was something waiting on us; but, it was in the grass making a fuss...couldn't make out what it was. I noticed BH didn't park in the grass on that particular spot.Chalk wrote:Too bad your pet gator wasn't waiting on ya at the mouth![]()

That fish in Eerman's hands looks like something to report. Good day on the water.
