we got to the ramp around 6:30 and idled out. went South just outside of the channel and started fishing. the wind was brutal and the grass was annoying but not horrible. the water temp was 66 if my memory serves me right. the two other guys threw the tourist rig and I threw a weighted Down South Lure swim bait and we all caught about the same amount of fish. all fish where 16-21 inches and we threw back a bunch of shorts. we fished from 7 to 12:15 ish. other than the wind it was a pretty day on the water! caught 12 all together before things just died down and we got hungry. fished from 2ft to 4.5 ft and just made several drifts on the same pass.

Not a bad day at all! I bet it was windy, it blew all day here and was cold.
