Aucilla 1/16/18

Post by DixieReb »

Launched at Aucilla on low tide, had to push boat into the water as the end of the ramp was close to waterline. Drifted down, saw a few short trout being caught but not much action. About noon tide turned and it got better, caught 10 nice keepers in about 2 hrs. on mirrolures. Threw back many that were 14.5''. Left at 2, good trip. The man was at the ramp checking folks, wrote up the boat ahead of us and handed both guys a long sheet of paper. Everything was OK in our boat. Stay safe and legal out there. :)

FWC was at the ramp last time I was down as well. Good to see they are checking when the crowded areas.

I got there at 12:30, pulled out at 4. Looked like everyone was catching fish.
