Great couple of days fishing out of St Marks. Good trout are all over the place right now in 3 to five feet of water. Fished East Flats and West flats with live shrimp and caught very few small fish. Find good thick grass and they are there. By they way, couldn't get them to bite a gulp right now but aside from the live shrimp, they did bite soft plastic mirrolures in the pink and green colors.

Wind was rough this weekend, how was the flats waves when you were out there?

Got sprayed a little bit coming and going but it wasn't as bad as I thought. I love fishing those kinds of days.

Can't say I love it but I have been in plenty of those days by accident. It's good to hear that they are back out there now. Flats have been late to catch fire with this cold weather hanging around.

I was out there on the west flats south of Kitchen Cove and Little Pass from 1-4:30pm on Saturday 4-14....murky, less than 2 feet visibility, temp 73, not too rough since the wind let up from the morning 20+mph, but not much biting on my live shrimp either. Caught several shorts and a few sailcats. No keeper trout.
