Econfina 4-28

Post by tabb »

Biggest crowd I have ever seen at ramp. Beautiful day.
Ran almost to the mouth and motor started acting up. Nice couple from moultrie pulled us back toward ramp. Drained carbs , fresh gas and some sea foam got us running but not like it should. Thought it might clear up if we ran it a while so we road to mouth at low speed. We ended up fishing around the mouth of river and boated three keepers. Nice fat trout two at .20!inches and one 16 inch.
Ate at Deals. Heading back out Sunday.

Huge amount of boats there. We came close to a 2 man limit with a couple of 20" trouts. All fat. One nice seabass.
The trout would only bite one particular thing for us, and it was a slow bite.

Picked up a few more trout today and a big blue. When I cleaned the fish only two had any thing in their stomachs. One had a small pin fish and the other had a few shrimp. They are full of row and healthy.
