Keaton 6-22

Post by Keywest 196br »

Made a quick trip to Keaton today, headed north to spring warrior and fished from the grass line out 10’ and could not get a bite. Fished from 6:30 until about 9:30 and with nothing to show for it ( not even a trash fish ) we made the run south. We run until the water started to clear up between piney point and big grass. Finally found the fish in about 9-11 feet. Worked out our 10 between 16” and 18” and off the water by 1:00, and it was starting to get hot. Stopped by Graves on the way home for burgers and shakes.

Any idea what the water temp was? Didn't think they'd be in that deep of water already.

  Good trip! Thanks for the report, I figured they'd be out deep as hot as it's been lately.
