Dog Island Reds

Post by Greenbone »

September has been a hot month but so has the red fish’n. We left Carrabelle river about 10:30am, headed over to Dog. It took just a few minutes to catch a few pinfish which we cut for bait.I knew it might be a good morning cause something was busting bait fish all over. Well ,in about a hours time we boated a pair of 24”. Check out the spots on this 19”!

Dropaline, these reds have been around all summer.
HN , if the pin is silver dollar size, I’ll use it whole hooked in anal fin. If it’s larger I’ll cut into chunks about 2”. Oh, and use the head also.
