Me and buddy put in at 0730 to an almost empty river. 2 other trailers in the parking lot (uh-oh I thought)
. Fished falling tide all morning , got 1 keeper above island and the rest below it in several places. Fish weren't stacked up like I thought they'd be, had to move a lot to get our fish. Ended up with 6 nice ones and several throwbacks that were good size, too. Lots of floating debris and saw gar wallowing in the river, all this tells me too much fresh water. Low tide at 11 and water never really came in when we left at 2. Good to be back on the water, fun day!
Oh yeah, didn't see any mullet all day.
