Are the sand trout still around in #'s around the Shell Point and Ochlocknee Bay area?

Not sure, but we caught a bunch and some good sized ones in the mouth of the St Marks on Sunday

Are you talking about white(or silver)trout, or the short little trout we use as baitfish?

With some whiting caught in the same place

When those 2 fish stack up in the deeper holes, it can be amazing fishing. We used to catch a lot on shiner tails and cut bait.
