Lanark Friday, 3/29

Post by silverking »

Not much tidal movement and it was breezy out of the east to start the morning. Water temps were 65+ to begin. Trout were liking the Skitter Walk in 3.5 to 4 feet of broken sand/grass bottom. Reds were not interested in my lures in 1 foot of clear water, though. Also saw some big sheepshead hauling butt away from the skiff. Counted several more sharks in the shallows, combo of bulls and blacktips. Lots of mullet around, no sign of Spanish but I really didn't look for them. Water was nearly 70 degrees by the time I ran to the hill. Wasn't an epic day, but it sure beat sitting at my computer.

Trout + skitterwalk beats any day I have ever had at the office. Congrats.
