St. Marks 4/16/19

Water temps down from last week. I was seeing 69 - 71 on the West flats. A little warmer later and as we drifted shallower.

Only fished for a couple of hours (about 1-3) with my two sons. Steady bite, but didn’t find any honey holes. All caught on paddle tails swimming above the grass.

Water seems to be clearing up slowly.

That sounds great, thanks for reporting. How many did you end up with?

3 keeper trout . . . 2 between 14-15in, several shorts, one keeper flounder before my boys were ready to go.

We're not expert fishermen by any means, but it sure is fun trying to figure out the patterns!!

I would, but I might leave my lower unit in the river!!!

I’d rather find those rocks with Pryor’s boat!!

I need to talk my wife into buying your place over there.

Tell the Mrs. hello
