Keaton Beach 6/15

Post by leonreno »

Me and my daughter started around 11:00 am and finished around 7:00. Best bite was incoming tide. Ended with four keeper trout and one keeper Black Sea bass. A ton of short trout released. My daughter caught a small shark that was fun. Fish were in the 5-8 foot depths. Most caught on cork and gulp. Had a great time. Didn’t realize it was the start of scallop season, ramp was busy. Evidently scallops are south of Keaton because did not see too many boats north of Keaton. Was a good Father’s Day weekend trip.
