Yeah, I checked the same thing this morning. I can tell you it is about 60 percent chance of rain today, then 80 percent for two more days and 90 percent on Friday. All of this is if you believe the forecasters of course.

Whatever do you mean? Jim Cantore and his fellow weather-frothers are never wrong, especially when they have a chance to incite hysteria and pump up advertising rates.

Forecast in that area is 9" or so we'll see how much it strengthens between now and then... if the shear increases before it comes in it may be a fizzle... I'm good with that.

Latest forecast has moved landfall further west, and closer to hurricane strength at that time.

It may get rough around here fella's. :o

I was at a briefing this morning in where Gov Scott was in attendance (and spoke briefly). He has declared a state of emergency in preparation for Tropical Depression 9.
He was updated by the Division of Emergency Management as to the situation.

I am not fishing this weekend.
Have attached a graphic of expected path and dates/time

Looks like it may pass through the Carrabelle area prior to this Saturday's NFGFC tournament. Hope it keeps moving on schedule.

Rode down to Lanark yesterday afternoon late to put chairs and other easily blown items away. At that time, Hermine was headed to just north of Tampa with no signs of anything other than light showers. Get up this morning and now they now have it tracked back up through Alligator Point. There was a cop stopping folks going onto Alligator Point when we passed the cut off road. It looked like business as usual in Panacea. Looks like we need to hang on! :o
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!
