Here's more, but this probably won't work either since Jessica is barely wearing high-priced and over-rated Pelagic High Performance Gear.

Re: kastking
2Salty,so the Shimano reels you shared all significantly out rate the 4.0 rated 2017 Kingkast Mela on amazon that now has 14% 1 star reviews, huh? Notice you failed to mention that.
By the way can you speak to whether any of the reels in the clip are Kastkings? (trying to see yet again if we can end with Jessica )

Keeping this bail rolling:
Not trying to convince anyone one way or the other but I'm still evaluating these reels and took a couple apart this morning to do a comparison. The first thing I noticed was the tolerance between the spool and the bearings is really tight and made the spool VERY hard to remove. Secondly, there wasn't a drop of grease or lube anywhere in the reel. Other than that, you can see a few obvious differences:
and there's a LOT fewer parts:

Re: kastking
No reason to mention the KastKing Mela - it sells for all of 30 buck$ and it is KastKing's "bottom" spinning reel (pretty much less or more of a "kiddie" or "starter" reel).big bend gyrene wrote:2Salty,so the Shimano reels you shared all significantly out rate the 4.0 rated 2017 Kingkast Mela on amazon that now has 14% 1 star reviews, huh? However, since you brought up the KK Mela's 14% 1 star reviews...
Shimano Sahara FD 3 out of 5 stars $80
11% 2 star reviews, 22% 1 star reviews

But if/when all else fails, try the "deflection" to Jessica again. "Deflection" is what some people do when they have no logical or sensible rebuttal and/or have nothing of real substance to contribute to the subject matter at hand.

MAN, WE HAVE HAD SOME RAIN IN THE LAST 36 HOURS. WE HAD A TOTAL OF 9 1/2 INCHES OF RAIN IN THIS TIME PERIOD. HAD SOME FRIENDS UP NORTH OF CAMILLA THAT LOST EVERYTHING, THEY CAN NOT EVEN FIND ANY PARTS OR CLOTHING, HAD A DOUBLE WIDE TRAILER, TIED DOWN WITH THE RECOMMENDED ANCHORS AND IT ALL IS GONE. IT IS A SHAME, THEY ARE TOO OLD TO DO ANYTHING, HOPE THEY HAD SOME TYPE OF INSURANCE.
