January 2008 NFGFC meeting

Thursday,January 3,2008.
First meeting of the year at Beef O'Brady was a big success. We had a packed room of Gulf coast anglers listening to club goals and tournament schedules for 2008.

New officers were installed and each spoke about their area of responsibilities in the club.
The 2008 officers are;
Steve Taylor(jumptrout51) President.
Casey Cook(caseycook) Vice President.
Mike Scibelli(wetjet) Treasurer.
Robbie Green(birddog) Secretary.
Ty Smith(tyoneon) Secretary.
John Vickers(tincan) Tournament Director.
Tom Keels(tom keels) Technical Director.
Everyone received a package of SaltWater Assassin grubs courtesy of Captain Keith Cardin and BassAssassin/Saltwater Assassin.
The meeting ended with a raffle prize drawing with merchandise contributed by Advantage Marine,Mirrolure,SeaTow,South Georgia Outdoors,Bite a Bait,Attwood Marine,HogyLures.

Next meeting is the first Thursday in February. The speaker is Bill Palmer(reelslow). Bill is a accomplished and entertaining speaker as well as a expert redfisherman.
His speaking topic; REDFISHING in North Florida Gulf.
Members and curious fishermen are all invited.
