Forum member Rhett Whitley's Mom just posted this on FaceBook. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. It doesn't sound good....

Hey everyone
This is Debby Whitley, Rhett’s stepmother. Rhett has asked me to send this post to his friends.
Rhett is presently in Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta and has gone into complete liver and real failure.
He is not a candidate for a liver transplant and will be returning to Moultrie to our home with support of Hospice hopefully today.
He is very weak and has asked that you all contact me as he is not feeling well enough to talk or text.
Please remember sweet Rhett and our family in your prayers. We are praying for peace and comfort.

Those who know Rhett will know he's one of the GOOD guys -- most definitely a kindred soul with all the forum members who deeply love fishing and being outdoors. Feel blessed to have made his acquaintance and enjoyed a few trips together.

Looks like Rhett has left us as of a few days ago.

I never met him in person, but always appreciated the banter on here and stories.

From super interactive on social media to gone in about two weeks... life is crazy sometimes and just doesn't make sense. Condolences for those of you that were close and his family. He definitely seemed like a great guy
