When he's not slogging through the St. Marks salt marsh dodging gators and snakes to catch trout and reds, Gary Droze is an accomplished coach for Maclay School and Tallahassee Community College track and cross country teams. Today he'll be inducted into the Florida Athletic Coaches Association's Hall of Fame at a ceremony in Daytona Beach.

Congratulations Gary, on a well-deserved honor. There will be some good low tides next weekend on that full moon.

Right before the ceremony I was looking out my hotel window at the Indian River, wishing I was wadefishing the oyster bars. Hated to miss the end of a nice outgoing tide.
