Lake Iamonia Hwy 12 ramp. How Big?

Post by bbb »

Pretty sure the answer is yes, but would it be safe to launch a 25’ center console there? I went by yesterday and the water is within 1 foot of the top of the ramp.

If my memory is correct, it slopes pretty good and goes back 20 feet or so.

Then the open water should be 15 feet deep for a ways.

should be fine. Have to dip the truck a bit, but all hard bottom. Put my 22' Ranger in there multiple times. Seen some ungodly party barges launched there

Thanks. I’ll keep that tree as a reference point for where the ramp may drop off some.

Here’s a pic of our gator hunt several years ago. The tallest trees on the far left are at the Fish Camp ramp.

That was an easy daytime hunt that year.
