Gheenoe for sale

Friend of a friend has a 13' 10" Gheenoe with a 1 1/2 year old Merc 9.9 4 stroke and trailer for sale. He is asking $2000 OBO
The story I hear is the engine will push you as fast as you can stand with one person in the boat. It has respectable power and speed with two full grown anglers aboard. The boat is late '80s or early '90s but in good shape. No leaks. The engine purchased new 1 1/2 years ago and is barely broken in and still pulling strong.
