Chris,
Jim's day job is as a mechanic at Pep Boys on Apalachee Parkway. His number is 445-4889. He's usually there during the work week. He's also a site sponsor and has generously contributed to our annual Flats Pro Seminars each year.

I was going to suggest taking the reel to Jim but someone beat me to it. Not only will he put it back together, but he does outstanding routine service work and repair as well. He does all my reels. And a tip for those of you who take a break from fishing over the winter months--that is a prime time to have your tackle tuned up by Jim so it's all ready to go for the spring season. Of course, some of us fish year-round and have to have multiple back-ups for contingencies. Or at least that's what I tell my wife. But I'm pretty sure she doesn't believe me.

Pretty sure when Redfin realized Jim would put it back together for $20, it came off the market.
