That's a sweet look'n E Tec Steve. I'll bet I could sure nuff POWER LOAD my Carolina Skiff right into the back of a pickup with that baby.

Hey PA... amazing how we don't seem to forget them dog tag #'s ain't it. If you ever become a bit confused or hesitant....all you have to do is put SIR! in front of it and they seem to come right back to you :-D salute1

We had to stamp last name and the last four digits on every article of clothing we were issued... I'm sure someone some where played a joke and was instrumental in assigning the serial number to one of the guys in my squardon... his last name was LOVE and the last 4 digits were 6969. He caught a lot of grief when someone spotted LOVE6969 on the band of his underware

Thanks for checking Steve. I appreciate it.

It'll sell. Too good a deal for someone looking to re-power. The retail price on a new 200 is around $13,500.

Had someone offer to trade me for a 85 Corvette with 100K miles, but I'm going to pass. If I'm going to buy another toy, it'll be another boat.

The engine is still for sale. It's lonely and needs a new transom.

Great price it seems to me. How much would it cost to convert to 25 inch shaft? Anyone have a ball park on that?

$1400. To fit a longer transom.
Probably several thousand for a new boat conversion.

Some of you have asked about converting my 20-inch shaft 200 into a 25-inch. According to my dealer, a conversion kit is available for $800.

If you're interested, please send me a PM to discuss. The engine is ready and rarin' to go with its original 20-inch shaft though. With a little over 400 hours, it's just officially broke in, so there's a lot of hours left on this baby at a great price.

Thanks.

Silverking, is the 800.00 shaft conversion include dealer labor? And also doing the motor come with controls? Thanks

In case anyone has the same question, my dealer (Shields Marine in St. Marks) says the conversion kit would be $840 for parts and labor, plus tax.
