Orvis Battenkill LA III Fly Reel SOLD

New, in the box and never fished but loaded with backing and line is this Orvis Battenkill Large Arbor III fly reel. Made from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum with a centerline drag with carbon and stainless steel surface, this reel is loaded with 20-pound Dacron backing and an Orvis WF-F 5-weight line. The large arbor spool will also handle 6- and 7-weight lines, which makes it a great choice for inshore species like trout, redfish, Spanish mackerel and pompano. It would also do well for largemouth bass and freshwater trout/bream. The indexed drag knob makes it easy to set the drag at the desired settings. This reel is set up for left-hand retrieve, but it's easily convertible. It weighs 4.4 ounces and holds 125 yards of 20 pound backing. The reels comes with a nylon case and original box and owner's manual with instructions and parts schematic.
