Posting for my long-time fishing buddy who lives in the Destin area. Engine runs strong and a mechanically-inclined buyer can make the repairs with $300 part (powerhead has to be pulled). Otherwise, the shop repair would be about $2,000. Optis are low-pressure, direct injection engines with good fuel economy, great torque and lightweight on the transom. It is currently on a 1720 ActionCraft flats boat.
