My brother in law died. My job is to sell his rods and reels. I am pasting a list of what there is. The numbers (1,2,3, etc.) of the rods match with the numbers of the reel (1,2,3,etc) currently mounted on the corresponding rod. I fish with 6500's and Ugly Sticks. These are much nicer than anything I have. What would be a reasonable price for me to ask for the rods, reels, or combos. 100.00 per combo, 200.00 per combo, 250.00 per combo, or some other amount. I know he spent a pretty penny getting them. Certainly more than I am ever likely to spend.

And I also need to get rid of his tackle. He did not buy one of something, he bought in bulk. His pegboard walls are full. His trays and tackle boxes are jammed full. Brand new, there is no telling what he paid for all this. How do I get rid of this stuff, and for how much?

Dang I was going to post photos of his tackle room, but realized I don’t know how. Just envision pegboards like a mini bass pro. If there’s one rattletrap,he has ten. One spinner bait, he has ten. All in new packages.

If they are in good shape the combo prices would be $225 to $250. You're looking at $175 plus for the reels and the same for the rods retail.

Depending on how much time you can spend on this, eBay might be a good venue for the lures since it sounds like most of it is bass-oriented. You'd be better selling the rods and reels separately if you go the eBay route and charge for shipping. There's definitely a market for this gear.

Good luck with the sales. I'm sure your BiL and his family would appreciate it.
