You have to be a REALLY good customer. They sent out invitations to their best customers.

It was a special invite that went out to their "best customers" for the past year. I don't know what the minimum amount you had to spend there this year was, but I spent about 3 grand this year. But I made out like a bandit at the sale. I stocked up on all kinds of things and averaged a 50% discount. And it was all stuff I'd planned on buying anyway.

When these "Super Sales" happen, the cynic in me is not impressed.

The Company (West Marine, on this occasion) will make a profit on the items, even at the 50% off price.
Just think how much profit they make at the normal prices, for the rest of the year.

When the sale is on, end of line, slightly damaged items etc. its more genuine and less a case of extracting the urine.

Did ya'll get the $10 off card in the mail last week on any purchase for this coming Fri, Sat & Sun only? Card didn't mention any limit for that purchase that I could see. Hope they still have some of those sales you all mentioned going on.
