The Cat Ferry

Thought I'd share a boating experience with ya'll. From Nova Scotia to Maine early last fall.

320 ft, up to 55 mph, four 9,500 diesel jets, up to 900 passengers, 250 cars, 14 tour buses.....

Awesome!

It was very cool!

I was moving my bride-to-be from NS to Tallahassee (talking about culture shock. She was fascinated by spanish moss here for the longest time) in a rental moving truck. Both NS and Maine are beautiful. Saw whales on the cruise over.

On a side note and a bit of advice. When driving through Washington DC, don't attempt to drive a big U-Haul past our nation's capital building for a little look-see. I've never seen so many blue lights so quickly in my life. I thought a cavity search was certain. Whew!
