Awesome pic, Chalk

Pa, guessing my Dad's a bit younger than you as he tried signing up twice before he reached legal age and got caught and turned away twice. By the time he got in the bombs were dropped while he was in boot camp. His service definitely was one of the motivators for my own. I thank you both for paving the way

And in regards to praying for those currently overseas, definitely ask they be lifted up. Got a platoon mate over playing in the sand right now and pray each night he safely returns to his two little girls. His name is Gunny Sgt. Mike Hornikel. If anybody is so inclined please keep him and our other brothers in your prayers. Many thanks.

Finally, "GOOD NIGHT CHESTY PULLER, WHEREVER YOU ARE!!!" ;-)
"The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank GOD for the United States Marine Corps." Eleanor Roosevelt, 1945
